I had the hardest time coming up with something for this challenge because I didn't have time to print out a black and white photo...and my Mom's box of photos are buried somewhere in the garage. So I went with the black and white papers and embellishes. One of my dd's baby showers was a retro theme so I stamped out some patterned paper with 50's images and went with it! Ended up really having fun with this challenge after all!

Love that little cluster of flowers!

You make this look easy, but your pop of color is perfect! Also I gotta say your use of embellies is getting really good. clap clap clap

No problem, the photo's really pop of the page this way and visually that is whats important in a LO - I'm still feeling the excitement of you being a grandma. I might add that it sounds like your little grandbaby is a very lucky young lady to have you in her life.

when I saw this LO, my first thought was, I can't wait to see you tomorrow. I mean really see you for the first time. I know that sounds strange, but you know what I mean. Getting to know you here is one thing, but being able to share the day with you is going to be a highlight of my day. I feel like I want to wrap my arms around you. I know I won't get the chance to often in the future. Be prepared, I give BIG hugs. LOL

Great LO!

Thanks Lee! I'm learning so much from all of you there. I'm even beginning to like the one and two photo layouts.

Me too Allison! Joining this forum opened me up to different ways of scrapping and I love it! Still do the multi-photo layouts but branching out into single and 2 photo layouts for title pages. Isn't it fun?!

Yes, the photos do show up well with black and white backgrounds. I would never have thought to do ALL black and white pp and embellies but this is one that I plan to use again. The challenges here are amazing and have opened my eyes to new ways of doing things.
